Your tasks

As a WAN Network Expert, you will

• Handle all types of technical "network" and/or "security" tasks for the recurring activity of the contract, but also take charge of the management and monitoring of specific projects
• Possess technical knowledge of WAN networks to understand the challenges and respond appropriately to client requests (expertise)
• Contribute your experience to assist the Transverse Technical Manager. From the perspective of the AMOE organization, the latter is notably the level 1 interlocutor for senior Experts
• Manage the Single Window (Guichet Unique) which is composed of one person from each team (STOWAN, ITRLAN, ITRNET, ITRSYS)
• Perform MCO & technical support for networks and security N2+ / N3
• Write documentation (technical sheets, procedures, …)
• Provide regular reporting to the pilot and update internal tracking and operating tools (Redmine, resca, workload tracking …)
• Participate in meetings (AMOA/client follow-up, projects, MCO …)
• Perform patches
• Perform unit and functional tests in a lab
• Follow the project in collaboration with the AMOA teams
• Follow client processes (use of charters, uploading documents to GED, storage organization, …)
• Be proactive in providing advice and expertise both internally within the contract and for the client

Regarding transverse activities, you will provide backup for the Transverse Technical Manager, whose duties include, among others, which you will:

• Have a global vision of the client's network architecture corresponding to its network and telecom strategy
• Have knowledge of all MCO activities, notably being responsible for the transverse technical review prioritized by the MOA / AMOA
• Act as the client interface: as the preferred point of contact for all transverse MCO subjects, you also ensure good communication between all stakeholders

Your responsibilities include

• Providing a relevant technical response
• Communicating on task progress
• Reporting task progress
• Updating action tracking
• Updating the "Registry" file for the documentation part
• Alerting the Team Leader quickly and sharing information

Among other responsibilities in your backup role for transverse activities, you will:

• Ensure coordination between different recurring activities and external entities, notably between the AMOA and the AMOE for all transverse subjects,
• Be the entry point for any new project. You will be invited to kick-off meetings to gather information, answer initial questions, and then activate the competent team,
• Ensure the follow-up of FURs by writing an impact analysis note, identifying the different settings of the network systems concerned.
• Act as the guarantor of the deliverable production process, meaning you ensure that teams have correctly followed the implemented quality process (checklist) before delivery to sites and to the MOA
• Act as the guarantor of the update and quality of configuration repositories, meaning you verify with the action owner that the expected process has been respected

Requirements

Your technical knowledge

• IP / LAN / WAN, knowledge of SSI / Systems,
• Routing protocols (static, BGP, OSPF, MPLS…)
• Communication protocols UDP / TCP (Multicast / Unicast),
• Flow analysis

A graduate with a Master's degree (Bac+5) from an Engineering school or equivalent, you have at least 10 years of professional experience in a similar role.

Your English level is operational.

You are autonomous, rigorous, and pragmatic.

You also have a good sense of service and client relations.

You have good knowledge of JUNIPER / CISCO / HP equipment.

JUNIPER (JNCIA, JNCIS) and CISCO (CCNA), FORTIGATE (NSE4), STORMSHIELD (CSNA) certifications would be a plus.
