Reporting to Sopra Steria I2S, you will join the Digital Platform Services division, specialized in Infrastructure and Cloud professions.

Your tasks

Your role and missions As a Senior Transition & Transformation Project Manager, you will lead strategic projects for the transition, transformation, and modernization of IT infrastructures and Cloud environments.

You will intervene across the entire project lifecycle, from pre-sales and scoping phases to operational implementation, ensuring compliance with cost, deadline, quality, and customer satisfaction commitments.

In this capacity, you will

• Lead transition, transformation, and migration projects for infrastructures and Cloud environments.
• Define project scope, objectives, schedules, resources, and associated budgets.
• Coordinate all stakeholders (clients, technical teams, partners, and suppliers) to ensure project success.
• Facilitate governance bodies and ensure regular reporting to clients and management.
• Identify, assess, and manage risks, dependencies, and associated action plans.
• Support teams through the various phases of transition projects (knowledge transfer, reversibility, service resumption, production deployment, stabilization).
• Ensure compliance with contractual commitments, project methodologies, and quality standards.
• Contribute to pre-sales phases by participating in requirement scoping, solution development, and responses to tenders.
• Support change management among various stakeholders to promote adoption of transformations.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of project management methods, tools, and best practices.
• Depending on the projects, support more junior project managers in their skill development and share your expertise.

Requirements

Your profile You are a graduate of an Engineering school or hold a Master's degree (Bac+5) (computer science, telecoms, generalist), ideally supplemented by training in management or business administration (type MBA, IAE…).

You have at least 10 years of experience in managing complex infrastructure, transition, transformation, or Cloud migration projects.

You have already led transition projects as part of managed services takeovers, infrastructure transformations, or IT modernization programs.

You possess good knowledge of Infrastructure, Systems, Networks, Workplace, and Cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform).

You master Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies, as well as associated management tools. A certification such as PMP, Prince2, AgilePM, or equivalent is an asset.

You master the challenges of governance, planning, risk management, budget management, service quality, and change management.

You are recognized for your ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams, to unite different actors around common objectives, and to manage several workstreams in parallel.
