Your tasks

In this context, we are looking for an IT Project Manager capable of supporting project management while providing solid technical expertise. Coming from a development background, you will play a key role at the interface between technical teams, business units, and clients. You will evolve within varied environments (Java, C#, Mainframe, API and distributed architectures). You will contribute to the coordination of activities, the understanding of functional challenges, and the challenging of solutions in order to guarantee the success of projects.

Management and coordination

• Support the Project Manager in managing activities and monitoring commitments (quality, costs, deadlines).
• Participate in work planning, monitoring workloads, budget, and risks.
• Prepare and lead monitoring and management meetings.
• Ensure coordination between teams, clients, and the various project stakeholders.
• Participate in arbitration and decision-making within your scope.

Client coordination and functional expertise

• Act as a preferred contact person within your scope.
• Understand business needs and support their translation into application solutions.
• Ensure the link between business, functional, and technical challenges.
• Participate in monitoring client satisfaction and the continuous improvement of processes.

Technical expertise

• Challenge design choices, estimations, and solutions proposed by the teams.
• Participate in technical and functional impact analyses.
• Identify technical risks and support their mitigation.
• Ensure compliance with development, quality, and security best practices.
• Support developers on complex topics.

Requirements

• You have significant experience in software development before moving towards coordination, management, or local management responsibilities.
• You enjoy management activities as much as technical topics: workload monitoring, risk management, team coordination, client relations, and project support.
• You have developed a good understanding of functional and business challenges in order to bridge the gap between user needs, technical constraints, and project objectives.
• You are recognized for your leadership, your ability to unite teams, and your ability to communicate with both technical and business stakeholders.
• You are proficient in English, both written and spoken.
• Experience in the banking or financial sector is an asset.
