Space Optomechanical Engineer/High Precision Optics (M/F)
Position:
Main Missions:
*
Develop optomechanical concepts from the upstream study phases (Phases A/B) to the flight model (Phases C/D). *
Size and design controlled-flexibility mechanical interfaces (Lecoflex, membranes, kinematic mounts) to minimize optical surface distortion (WFE). *
Perform CAD modeling (CATIA/Creo) and carry out finite element pre-analyses (thermo-optical/STOP analysis). *
Collaborate closely with optical metrology and cleanroom integration teams (ISO 5/ISO 7). *
Write technical documentation related to design reviews (PDR, CDR) and assembly and alignment procedures.
Profile:
*
Master's degree (Engineering School or Master 2) in mechanical engineering or optomechanics. *
3 to 5 years of experience within the space or high precision optics sector. *
Proficiency in CAD software and notions of structural calculation (Nastran, Femap, ANSYS). *
In-depth knowledge of space constraints (outgassing, vacuum, thermo-elasticity, vibration resistance). *
Technical English is imperative.
