MES Engineer M/F

Position:

• Collect and formalize operational needs from production, engineering, quality, and supply chain teams
• Analyze production processes and identify digitalization and automation needs
• Participate in the definition of the MES / ERP / IoT / OT-IT architecture
• Translate business needs into technical and functional specifications
• Participate in the definition of data flows, system interfaces, and exchanges between equipment and digital tools
• Contribute to the integration of automated machines, test benches, and measurement tools into the production system
• Define machine data collection needs: cycle times, process parameters, alarms, yield, scrap, etc.
• Analyze machine data and communication protocols to define integration needs
• Participate in implementing traceability for components and products, from reception to shipping
• Contribute to the deployment of digital work instructions and connected operator interfaces
• Participate in the digitalization of quality controls, measurement data, and non-conformity processes
• Contribute to the implementation of OEE/TRS performance indicator monitoring
• Participate in the testing, validation, and production deployment phases of digital solutions
• Ensure documentation of architectures, interfaces, data flows, and technical choices

Profile:

• Master's degree / engineering degree in industrial engineering, automation, mechatronics, industrial computing, or an equivalent field
• Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in MES, industrial digitalization, automation, or industrial IT
• First experience in an industrial production environment
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes: routings, BOM, production orders, quality control, and traceability
• Knowledge of MES / ERP environments and OT/IT integration issues
• Notions of industrial communication, machine data acquisition, and industrial IoT
• Knowledge of PLC/API, automated systems, or industrial protocols is a plus
• Ability to collect, analyze, and formalize user needs
• Good analytical and synthesis skills
• Professional technical English is essential, both written and spoken
• French is a plus for daily on-site exchanges
• Autonomy, rigor, and technical curiosity
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with multidisciplinary teams
• Mindset oriented towards digitalization, continuous improvement, and problem-solving
