【Job Description】

Within the IT Security Department of the SIE Group (Information Security Tokyo Office), you will lead the endpoint security domain for Japan and the Asia region, taking full responsibility from strategic design to implementation and operational optimization.

While adhering to global security policies, you will drive the design and implementation of security architectures that suit regional business requirements and technical environments. Collaborating with IT, development teams, and game studios, you will proactively introduce and deploy highly effective solutions to security challenges in a complex and rapidly changing environment.

Furthermore, through collaboration with global teams, you will participate in improving standardization and provide technical input from a regional perspective.

【Main Responsibilities】

・Lead strategic design and roadmap formulation in the endpoint security domain

・Lead the selection, evaluation, implementation policy decision-making, and deployment projects for security products (EDR, vulnerability management, etc.)

・Lead the design and implementation of security architecture for multiple locations and diverse business environments

・Plan and execute continuous improvement measures based on operational data and incident trends (including KPI design)

・Handle escalation responses and technical decision-making for advanced technical issues and incidents

・Provide feedback and proposals for the localization of global standards and the improvement of standardization

・Drive the execution of security measures through coordination with related departments (IT, development teams, studios)

・Provide technical guidance and reviews to members and promote knowledge sharing

【Organization / Workplace Introduction】

The Information Security Tokyo Office collaborates with DevOps/IT teams in the US, Europe, and various Asian countries, and is responsible for the security of the game consoles and network services deployed by SIE, as well as the entire IT infrastructure of the Japan and Asia bases. The team consists of members with diverse backgrounds (as of February 2025: 20 members), and it is an environment where global collaboration occurs on a daily basis.

【Required Skills & Experience (MUST)】

・8 or more years of practical experience in the endpoint security domain, including experience leading design and implementation

・Experience leading the evaluation, selection, and implementation of multiple products such as EDR and vulnerability management

・Problem analysis and resolution capabilities for complex technical issues (at a level where you can drive progress autonomously)

・Ability to perform business in English in a global environment (meetings, documentation)

• Benchmark: TOEIC 800 or equivalent or higher

【Preferred Skills & Experience (WANT)】

・Security-related certifications (CISSP, Security+, etc.)

・Network/Cloud-related certifications (CCNP, CCSE, etc.)

・Experience in advancing operations through automation (scripting / API integration)

・Experience in designing integrated security architectures including WAF, CNAPP, etc.

・Experience in incident response and leading improvements in CSIRT/SOC

・Experience in designing and improving vulnerability management processes across an organization
