■職務内容 / Job Description: You will develop server-side software (Amazon Linux) for the backend systems responsible for game packaging and content distribution on the PlayStation platform. You will be responsible for everything from requirements analysis, design, implementation, and developer testing to bug analysis and support for related developers. You will develop software with your own hands and see it used in actual products and services across a wide range of areas.
■組織・職場紹介 / About team and organization: We are responsible for the development of software related to the content pipeline for game binaries—such as creating and verifying game packages and game discs in the PlayStation game SDK and submission systems, cryptographic functions for content protection, and delta distribution and delta delivery functions—as well as the construction and operation of part of the necessary server infrastructure. We collaborate on development not only with PlayStation system software developers but also with various departments such as the server team, overseas teams, product planning, and developer support. Our primary users are game developers around the world, and our mission is to continue providing one of the industry's leading game development environments. The team consists of 7 full-time employees and 4 contractors/contract employees. Since we develop software that becomes our core competence with our own hands, you can build your career as a high-level engineer. There is also frequent collaboration with overseas teams (mainly US, UK), so you can work globally and be active on a worldwide scale. ■求められるスキル・技術領域 / Skills and Qualifications:
【必須（MUST）】 ・Experience in software development using C++ (approximately 5+ years of professional experience) ・Development platforms: Linux (required) and either Windows or embedded systems
Skills/Technical Areas: ・Design patterns and Object-Oriented Programming ・Ability to write highly reliable code ・Ability to perform accurate requirements analysis ・Ability to understand specs such as RFCs in a short period of time
【歓迎（WANT）】 ・Experience in server construction and operation (on-premise servers are a plus) (approx. 3+ years) ・Basic knowledge in the field of cryptography ・General knowledge of security ・Knowledge/experience in Java or scripting languages (python, etc.) ・Experience in Linux or Windows system construction and operation
【語学力 / Language Skills】 ・Target TOEIC score of 700 or higher ・Communication in English (email, conference calls, overseas business trips) and reading technical documents written in English is required ・Japanese Language Proficiency Test N1 or equivalent or higher
