■About the Organization/Team
This position belongs to the server development organization that supports PlayStation's online services, serving as a Technical Program Manager (TPM) / Scrum Master responsible for team operations and program promotion. The team consists of members with diverse backgrounds, and an open culture is rooted where people can freely exchange opinions regardless of job title or seniority, using both Japanese and English. In this transparent environment where new ideas and suggestions for improvement are welcomed, you will be involved in development that delivers value to PlayStation users worldwide while collaborating with global teams.
■About This Position
With the development and operation teams of the application framework that supports PlayStation online services as your primary area of responsibility, you will play an active role as a Japan-based TPM / Scrum Master in related teams advancing database utilization and the renewal of legacy systems. This is a position where you will lead the operation and improvement of Scrum teams, while contributing to the continuous improvement and renewal of development foundations and the success of large-scale agile development through the promotion of projects spanning multiple teams and coordination with overseas development sites.
■Main Responsibilities
Operation, facilitation, and promotion of continuous improvement for Scrum teams
Project planning, progress management, and issue management as a Technical Program Manager
Coordination and promotion of projects spanning multiple teams
Communication and promotion of collaboration with Japanese and overseas development teams
Support for development and operation projects related to data foundations, common services, and development foundations
Consensus building with stakeholders and project promotion
■Experience Gained in This Position
You will be involved in large-scale system development that supports PlayStation online services used worldwide.
You can gain project management experience using English by collaborating with global development teams.
You can hone your skills in Scrum promotion within large-scale agile development and cross-organizational program management.
As a role connecting technology, product, and business, you will gain experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
■Required Skills and Experience
○Mandatory Requirements
Experience working with overseas teams using English
Experience leading small to medium-sized projects (scale involving 5–10 teams)
Experience in software development using Scrum
Experience in team leadership or project leadership
Communication skills to coordinate smoothly with stakeholders and drive projects forward
○Preferred Requirements
Experience promoting team operation and improvement as a Scrum Master
Agile-related certifications, such as Scrum Master certification
Knowledge and experience in cloud, data foundations, common services, and development foundation domains
Knowledge and experience regarding server applications and network services
○Language Skills
English proficiency capable of performing duties with overseas teams
Those with English proficiency equivalent to TOEIC 800 or higher are welcome (scores are not mandatory).
