■職務内容 / Job Description(Roles & Responsibilities)
Procurement of electrical and semiconductor components used in our hardware (Playstation® related products: consoles and peripherals). You will work in a team to develop and execute strategies, involving related departments (such as Design and Quality Assurance) from the selection of components used in the hardware we develop to their introduction into mass production. You will be responsible for a wide range of procurement tasks, including selecting new suppliers, verifying the validity of proposals from suppliers, cost estimation, and lead time negotiations. Depending on the components assigned, overseas business trips approximately once a quarter may occur. This position allows you to be involved in the development of globally renowned gaming equipment and directly feel the impact of your work. While there is pressure to ensure components are supplied without shortage or excess for large production volumes and to take responsibility for quality and price, please rest assured that we tackle these challenges together as a team. Furthermore, our company boasts one of the top-class procurement scales for semiconductors in Japan. Our partner companies are also of a high level, with many individuals possessing sophisticated skills, making this an ideal environment to gain experience in component procurement. DX Promotion involves managing BOM costs and component supply chain information to build a data foundation that can respond quickly to geopolitical risks and market changes. By utilizing technologies such as systems and BI tools, you will promote the visualization of information that supports management decisions and improve operational efficiency.

This department is responsible for everything from the production to the shipment of PlayStation, SIE's flagship product. Among them, we are currently recruiting for a team involved in the selection and procurement of electrical and semiconductor components necessary for production, as well as DX Promotion members to operate these procurement operations more efficiently. This is the team in charge of all electrical and semiconductor components used in Playstation related hardware. (Main procured components: CPU, GPU, ASIC, memory, transistor, board, power supply unit, MLCC, motor, etc.)
■求められるスキル・技術領域 / Skills and Qualifications
【必須（MUST）】
Procurement Specialist
Someone with 3 or more years of experience in semiconductor or electrical component procurement or sales.
Knowledge of semiconductor components for procurement and selection (deep technical knowledge is not required).
Quantity management using Microsoft Office.
DX Promotion Specialist
Skills to manage and visualize data using Microsoft Office, BI Tool, etc.
5 or more years of procurement management experience or system development experience.
