Do you want to work on aircraft and contribute directly to safety and quality in aviation? As an Aircraft Sheet Metal Worker, you are responsible for repairing and maintaining aircraft parts. You work accurately according to fixed guidelines and with professional tools. You assess damage, perform repairs, and ensure that every part meets the highest standards once again.

Function

What will you do as an Aircraft Sheet Metal Worker?

• You assess damage to aircraft parts and determine which repairs are necessary;
• You perform repairs and maintenance work according to the applicable repair guidelines;
• You replace damaged sheet metal parts and repair damage to aluminum or other aircraft materials by means of drilling, reaming, countersinking, spotfacing, light milling, grinding, sawing, and deburring;
• You use sheet metal tools and small machines to make parts fit or to repair them;
• You work according to strict safety regulations to ensure that the aircraft are back in optimal condition;
• You work in a professional and international team on diverse projects.

Job Requirements

What do you bring as an Aircraft Sheet Metal Worker?

• At least a completed MBO education in metalworking or a comparable technical education;
• Work experience as a sheet metal worker (aluminum) or metalworker (experience in aviation is a plus, but not a requirement);
• Good technical skills and an eye for detail;
• Ability to work accurately according to specifications and technical drawings;
