International Project Coordinator / PMO M/F

Our SOM Rhône-Alpes agency combines dual expertise in technical and environmental engineering to support high-stakes industrial projects.

Your tasks

As part of the development of activities related to industrialization and the supply of fuel products, you will work alongside Project Managers on a portfolio of international-scale projects.

Your main missions are as follows Within the project team, you will play a key role in the steering, coordination, and monitoring of projects:

• Support Project Managers in the steering of various Work Packages,
• Coordinate interfaces between suppliers, internal contributors, and project stakeholders,
• Define, monitor, and update project action plans,
• Identify, analyze, and monitor risks and opportunities, ensuring their integration into the planning,
• Ensure the monitoring of provisions associated with risks and opportunities,
• Develop and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and project reporting,
• Participate in the drafting of project management documents,
• Ensure the monthly update of schedules using MS Project and/or Primavera P6,
• Draft planning assumptions and contribute to progress and follow-up meetings,
• Be proactive in resolving difficulties and improving steering processes.

Requirements

Holding a Master's degree (engineering school or equivalent), you have 3 to 5 years of experience in project coordination and steering, ideally in a complex and international industrial environment.

You have developed strong skills in

• Coordination of multi-stakeholder and multi-disciplinary projects,
• Planning, risk, and opportunity management,
• Production of analyses, summaries, and reporting for project teams and management,
• Project monitoring in demanding and evolving contexts.

You are proficient in MS Project and/or Primavera P6 planning tools, as well as the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Experience in the nuclear sector will be a real asset.

Possessing excellent interpersonal skills, you enjoy teamwork and interacting with various stakeholders. Your analytical skills, ability to synthesize information, and proactive approach allow you to effectively support project teams in achieving their objectives.

A professional level of English is essential to operate in an international context (TOEIC > 850 or equivalent appreciated).
