We are now looking for an ILS Engineer

We are looking for a Logistics/Supply chain Manager in CDI to join our company at our Alixan (26) site.

The Logistics/Supply chain Manager optimizes and coordinates all logistical activities to ensure effective and efficient management of purchases/procurement, goods flows, resources, and information throughout the supply chain.

MISSION: Supervise all supply chain teams (purchasing/procurement, warehouse, forecaster, receiving/shipping,) in order to contribute to our operational performance

• Optimize warehouse organization to improve efficiency
• Define stock strategies and propose commercial sales or scrapping for parts that do not rotate sufficiently

• Ensure compliance with processing deadlines for receiving and shipping goods
• Ensure monitoring of customs requirements for import and export

• Optimize the selection and management of logistics providers, negotiate contracts, and place orders to guarantee efficient and profitable services
• Collaboratively manage relationships with suppliers for procurement activities, transport providers, and logistics service providers to guarantee quality, punctuality of deliveries, and maintain good long-term cooperation

• Optimize the creation of purchase orders, their processing and delivery times, replenishment quantities, purchase costs, and stock levels
• Implement and monitor performance indicators (KPI) to evaluate the effectiveness of stock management (stock values, stock rotation, number of stock movements ..), logistical operations (service rate, transport cost, number of charters, etc.), and procurement (balancing purchase portfolios, meeting deadlines, .)

• Perform cost and performance analyses to propose strategic and operational adjustments
• Integrate sustainable practices into the supply chain, such as reducing the carbon footprint, waste management, or responsible sourcing, and ensure that activities carried out comply with ethical and legal standards

• Actively contribute to the improvement and simplification of company processes.

Graduate with a BAC+3/5 in supply chain management, logistics, and transport

More than 5 years of experience in a similar position

The skills required for the position are:

• Mastery of techniques in purchasing/procurement, logistics, transport, supply chain management, and inventory management
• Knowledge of cost analysis and expenditure optimization techniques

• Skills in effective inventory management to minimize costs while guaranteeing product availability
• Mastery of an ERP (if possible SAP) as well as the Office pack

• Professional English, oral and written, in an international trade context
• Natural leadership and possessing strong managerial skills

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Team spirit to work with other departments

• Committed to standardization, continuous improvement, and process optimization
