Job Description

We are looking for a Software Quality Engineer (Tester) to join our quality assurance projects for clients in the insurance sector. The position is hybrid: it combines on-site work with remote activities, according to the needs of the project and the team.

Responsibilities

• Design, document, and execute test cases and scenarios based on functional and technical requirements.
• Execute functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance tests.
• Record, follow up on, and validate the correction of defects until their closure.
• Collaborate with development and analysis teams to detect and resolve quality issues in the early stages of the development cycle.
• Prepare progress reports and test results for the project leader and the client.
• Contribute to the improvement of the team's processes, standards, and quality deliverables.

Indispensable Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of verifiable experience as a Tester or Software Test Analyst.
• Knowledge of the software life cycle and the stages of the testing process.
• Preparation of test cases, test matrices, and documented evidence.
• Management of defect and test management tools, Jira is desirable.
• Intermediate level SQL queries.
• Bachelor's degree in Informática, Sistemas, or related field (graduated or student).
• Availability for hybrid work in Ciudad de México.

Desirable Requirements

• Experience in projects within the financial or insurance sector.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum).
• Notions of test automation (Selenium, Playwright, Postman, or similar).
• ISTQB Foundation Level certification.
