Industrial Machinery Sales Advisor for the Food Industry

MISSION:

Achieve sales goals through specialized technical advisory in machinery for food processes, guaranteeing profitable solutions for the company and efficient solutions for the client.

FUNCTIONS:

CUSTOMER SERVICE

• Conduct scheduled client visits according to established agendas.
• Identify and capture new clients through visits or by using assigned platforms to expand the client base.
• Identify client needs, advise them on suitable products and accessories, and provide the corresponding follow-up.

ADMINISTRATIVE

• Keep internal and external communication platforms updated (SPXFLOW, eSales Portal).
• Inform immediate management regarding updates related to clients.
• Keep client information, quotes, invoicing, and credits updated in databases or platforms.
• Coordinate and participate in meetings with the Commercial Manager, the South America and Central America Distribution Management of SPX.

OPERATIONAL COORDINATION

• Verify the technical specifications of requested products to guarantee order accuracy.
• Supervise and coordinate the delivery, installation, and placement of products at the client's facilities.
• Transfer orders to the Logistics area for product reception and follow-up.

SALES

• Prepare and follow up on quotes, ensuring the closing of negotiations and the formalization of purchase orders.
• Maintain deep knowledge of available products and accessories, including their specifications and applications.
• Meet the assigned sales goal.

OTHERS Perform administrative tasks specific to the department.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Technician or student of Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical, or Food Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a sales advisor (food industry, production lines, commercial area).
• Must possess a private vehicle and a valid B1 driver's license ESSENTIAL
• Intermediate English.
