Senior/Junior service engineer

Your tasks

• Carry out installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and maintenance of industrial equipment.
• Provide prompt and professional after-sales technical support at customers’ sites.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical and heating-related equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and prepare accurate service reports.
• Support project installations, equipment testing and commissioning.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, electrical diagrams and equipment manuals.
• Use AutoCAD to view, prepare or amend basic technical drawings when required.
• Work closely with the Sales Team to understand customer requirements and resolve technical issues.
• Participate in technical training conducted by experienced engineers and overseas principals.
• Travel within Singapore and occasionally overseas for project support and training when required.

Requirements

• Diploma, NITEC or Higher NITEC in Electrical, Electronic or Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in industrial equipment servicing, maintenance, troubleshooting or field service is required for experienced and senior positions.
• Candidates without relevant experience, including fresh graduates, are welcome to apply and will be considered for a junior position with training provided.
• Basic knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and industrial equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical diagrams.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD or similar drafting software is preferred. Junior candidates should be willing to learn.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook, for service reporting, data entry and email communication.
• Hands-on, responsible and proactive, with a strong willingness to learn.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team, depending on experience and training.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
• Class 3 driving licence preferred but not mandatory.

Experience Level and Remuneration We welcome applications from candidates at different stages of their careers. Experienced candidates will be considered for Service Engineer or Senior Service Engineer positions based on their technical capabilities and relevant experience. Candidates with no prior experience will be considered for a Junior Service Engineer position.

Salary and appointment level will be commensurate with qualifications, relevant experience, technical competency and overall skill set.
