⚡ We are looking for a Biomethane Quality & Environmental Technician

📍 Rome | 🌍 International company | ⚙ Biorig

Responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental and quality regulations in plants and projects in Italy, as well as the correct certification of waste and the sustainability of the production process.

🔎What you will do*

• Implementation, maintenance, and improvement of quality and environmental management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001).
• Supervision of compliance with Italian and European environmental regulations (waste, emissions, sustainability).
• Management and control of waste certification processes (traceability, classification, documentation, and recovery).
• Participation in biomethane production projects:

-Quality control of the process and the product (biogas/biomethane).

-Monitoring of environmental parameters.

-Optimization of processes according to sustainability criteria.

-Preparation and coordination of internal and external audits.

-Document management and reporting to authorities and clients.

-Analysis of environmental risks and definition of corrective measures.

-Coordination with multidisciplinary teams (engineering, operation, plant management).

-Support in obtaining sustainability certifications (e.g., ISCC, RED II, or others applicable to biomethane).

-Interface with regulatory bodies and certification entities in Italy.

🚀Ideal profile

Degree in Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Industrial Engineering, or similar.

• Minimum 3-5 years in similar roles.
• Proven experience in:

-Biogas/biomethane or renewable energy projects.

-Waste certification and management.

-Management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001).

-English: intermediate-high level (B2 or higher).

-Spanish: preferred.
