Locum Nurse
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse - Vaccination to join our healthcare team on a casual (part time) basis in SINGAPORE . This role is pivotal in our immunisation programme, where you will play a crucial part in delivering safe, effective vaccination services to our diverse patient population. As a Vaccination Nurse, you will be responsible for administering vaccines, providing patient education, and maintaining meticulous records whilst ensuring compliance with all health and safety protocols. This position offers flexibility whilst contributing meaningfully to public health initiatives. Key responsibilities Administer vaccinations in accordance with established clinical protocols and vaccine guidelines
Assess patients' vaccination status and medical history prior to immunisation
Provide clear and accurate information to patients regarding vaccines, potential side effects, and post-vaccination care
Maintain detailed and accurate vaccination records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements
Monitor patients for adverse reactions post-vaccination and respond appropriately to any concerns
Maintain a clean, safe and sterile vaccination environment, ensuring proper handling and storage of vaccines
Prepare and maintain vaccination equipment and supplies
Communicate effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds and respond sensitively to vaccination hesitancy
Support other nursing and healthcare team members as required
Adhere to infection prevention and control measures at all times
What we're looking for Current SN registration with SNB
Proven experience in vaccination administration or immunisation services
Strong knowledge of vaccine protocols, contraindications and adverse reactions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations
Meticulous attention to detail, particularly in maintaining accurate clinical records
Ability to work independently and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to patient safety and adherence to infection control and health and safety standards
Flexibility to work on a casual basis and adapt to varying shift patterns
Relevant immunisation or vaccination training certifications are advantageous
