IT Specialist

Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, printers, and peripheral devices.

Provide technical support and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for end users.

Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and internet connectivity.

Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.

Perform system updates, backups, and security patches to ensure data integrity and system reliability.

Troubleshoot operating systems, applications, and connectivity issues.

Document IT procedures, system configurations, and technical issues.

Support the deployment of new technologies and IT projects.

Coordinate with vendors for hardware procurement, software licensing, and technical support.

Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and data protection regulations.

Train employees on IT systems, security awareness, and best practices.

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Proven experience in IT support, systems administration, or a similar role.

Familiarity with networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and wireless networking.

Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, cloud services, and virtualisation is an advantage.

Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft, or Cisco certifications are preferred.
