Engineering Manager / Lead Software Development (gn)

Microsoft Dynamics 365 | CRM

Full-time | Germany (ideally Leipzig or Berlin area) | remote/ hybrid

In this role, you will take Engineering Excellence to the next level, strategically develop our platform, and ensure that stable, high-performance CRM solutions optimally support our global Sales organization.

The Tasks

• You lead and develop a global team of Software Engineers and technical consultants around our Dynamics 365 | Sales & Customer Service platform.
• You drive the strategic further development of the Dynamics 365 | Sales & Customer Service platform.
• To ensure our CRM landscape scales with SoftwareOne's growth, you develop future-oriented concepts (including the integration of innovative technologies such as AI).
• You establish modern software engineering processes, continuously develop them, and ensure compliance with high quality standards.
• You work hands-on on architecture, design, implementation, documentation, and testing.
• You coordinate closely with Product Management and Product Owners - coordinating cooperation with external partners as needed - to deliver solutions with real added value.

Knowledge and Skills

• Sound experience in leading engineers and technical consultants in Microsoft CRM / CE / Dynamics 365 | Sales & Customer Service environments.
• Solid understanding of enterprise CRM landscapes, especially Microsoft Dynamics 365 | Sales & Customer Service and the Power Platform.
• Experience in the conception and implementation of sales processes based on Dynamics 365 | Sales & Customer Service.
• Proven experience with agile software development – SCRUM and Kanban.
• Strong communication skills (English at C-level), analytical thinking, as well as a structured, solution-oriented way of working.
