AI Automation Engineer

Are you GAME to JOIN US and be our new AI Automation Engineer?  SoftConstruct is on a search for a new player to join our AI Center Of Excellence team.

Design and implement production-grade AI agents and robust automation services

Create robust data pipelines for extraction and LLM-driven transformation

Integrate with external tools and APIs, including web parsers, email, chat systems, and streaming data

Expose agent workflows as well-documented APIs or event-driven services

Focus on building reliable systems with built-in caching, retries, observability, and performance optimization

Contribute to the development of internal SDKs and frameworks to accelerate AI agent development across the team

Partner with cross-functional teams to translate use cases into reliable, maintainable solutions

 Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)

 5+ years of professional Python experience, with a focus on modern async and typed code

 Proven track record building scalable backend APIs with modern web frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, Django)

 Hands-on experience with LLM agent design patterns like ReAct and tool-calling, preferably with frameworks like LangChain

 Practical experience with event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ)

 Experience with orchestration frameworks (e.g., Dagster, Airflow)

 Proficiency with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis, PgVector)

 Strong knowledge of CI/CD practices, preferably with Azure DevOps

 Commitment to writing strong unit and integration tests

 Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving project environment
