Our agency SOFITEX is recruiting for one of its clients, specializing in the design and manufacture of industrial equipment, a FIELD TECHNICIAN - COMMISSIONING ENGINEER M/F.
Your tasks
At the heart of your clients' industrial installations, you will work with full autonomy on the assembly, adjustment, and commissioning of equipment, both in France and internationally.
Reporting to the External Operations Manager, you will carry out the following missions:
- Perform the installation, mechanical assembly, and electrical wiring of industrial equipment at client sites.
- Carry out testing, adjustments, and commissioning of installations to guarantee their proper functioning and performance.
- Diagnose malfunctions and intervene in troubleshooting, maintenance, and retrofit operations.
- Perform technical controls and adjust equipment parameters under real production conditions.
- Intervene on automated systems and participate in parameter setting operations.
- Train operators and maintenance teams on the use, adjustment, and diagnosis of equipment.
- Coordinate the various stakeholders on site and ensure the technical follow-up of projects.
- Guarantee customer satisfaction and ensure reporting of your interventions.
Requirements
Are you passionate about technology, industrial equipment, and international travel? Do you enjoy working in the field, solving technical problems, and supporting clients during the commissioning of their installations?
Autonomous, organized, reactive, and endowed with an excellent sense of customer service, you appreciate responsibility and know how to take initiative in the field.
With a technical background (Bac +2) in industrial maintenance, electrotechnics, mechanics, or equivalent, you ideally have 5 years of experience in a similar position, particularly in the installation, assembly, or commissioning of industrial machines.
You possess solid skills in the following areas:
- Industrial mechanics: assembly, fitting, adjustments, and pneumatics.
- Industrial electricity: wiring, controls, diagnosis, and autonomous interventions.
- Automatism: good knowledge of automated systems, control interfaces, and parameter setting operations.
- Commissioning: testing, cadence optimization, and technical problem solving.
Proficiency in professional English is indispensable for communicating with clients and intervening internationally.
