NEW WORKS ENGINEER M/F

Under the direction of Claude, the Technical Director, the New Works Engineer will implement investment projects by meeting production criteria, while complying with safety, quality, environment rules, and all defined standards.

Your missions:

• Manage new works files in project mode
• Take charge of the investment project management part, from drafting specifications, to costing, technical studies, and coordination of stakeholders, until success criteria are met

• Be responsible for respecting the budget and the schedule of the projects assigned to me
• Lead project management with a project team and all internal clients and partners

• Lead work teams
• Search for and select external service providers

• Guarantee compliance by service providers with the specifications from both an operational standpoint and a regulatory, hygiene, and safety standpoint
• Ensure equipment design in compliance with hygiene rules

• Ensure the timely creation and transmission of key operational standards necessary for the proper functioning of the installed equipment
• Proceed with the implementation of defined means to maintain or improve the performance of the production plant in terms of costs and machine utilization rates.

Compliance control:

• Guarantee the proper application of the ICPE
• Ensure the consistency of completed projects with quality requirements and personal safety

• Guarantee the proper implementation of regulatory controls
• Contribute to the respect of our CO2 and Water trajectories

Performance monitoring:

• Monitor the progress of works
• Conduct technical reviews.

• Maintain dashboards
• Respect the set indicators

• Respect the CAPEX budget

Investment project monitoring:

• Administratively follow projects
• Set up construction sites while respecting safety and quality instructions

• Monitor project development schedules with the objective of meeting deadlines in connection with production
• Provide technical assistance for energy rationalization.

• Provide technical assistance to plants in connection with the process and methods department as well as the automatisme department

If you recognize yourself in the following traits, this opportunity is made for you:

• You hold a Technical Engineering degree (or equivalent) with an interest in New Works management. Experience in Agro-Alimentaire would be appreciated (internship and/or work-study)
• You are naturally organized, curious, and methodical

• You have excellent analysis and synthesis skills
• You possess proven interpersonal skills: listening and diplomacy/project mode management

• You are capable of taking initiative
• You have mastery of Autocad and MS Project tools. Knowledge of SAP is a plus

• You have a good level of English
• You are a good communicator

• You have a good capacity for adaptation

Contract type: CDI Geographic location: Bénestroff (57). A 3-month training period will be required in Port-sur-Saône (70) initially. Furthermore, travel, notably in northern France, will be within your scope.
