Head of Cleaning 12-Month FTC
Location: No Fixed Location, Ireland – Multi-Site Location Salary: €55,000 per annum, Company Car, plus Sodexo benefits Contract Type: Full Time, Fixed Term Contract
Are you an experienced cleaning operations leader ready to take the next step? We’re looking for a Head of Cleaning to lead cleaning operations across a national IFM portfolio, driving service excellence, compliance, high standards and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead national cleaning operations across multiple sites.
- Ensure SLA, KPI and quality standards are consistently achieved.
- Lead and develop Cleaning Managers, Supervisors and wider cleaning teams.
- Manage recruitment, rotas, training, performance and team coverage.
- Conduct quality audits and drive corrective actions and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with H&S, HACCP, COSHH, risk assessments and SOPs.
- Manage client relationships, attend meetings and present performance reports.
- Oversee cleaning stock, equipment, chemicals and associated costs.
- Ensure all sites remain fully staffed, compliant and audit-ready.
About You:
- 3–5+ years’ experience as a Cleaning Manager, Area Manager or Head of Cleaning.
- Proven experience managing a multi-site portfolio.
- Strong knowledge of BICSc standards, auditing and compliance.
- Excellent people leadership and client management skills.
- Highly organised, hands-on and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel nationally.
- Strong MS Office and reporting skills.
Desirable: BICSc qualification, IOSH, and experience within corporate, pharmaceutical or data centre environments.
