The S/4 HANA ERP Delivery Lead is responsible for driving the successful delivery of SAP S/4 HANA implementation workstreams and projects across the full ERP lifecycle. The role ensures alignment of delivery activities to approved scope, schedule, budget, quality standards, and business objectives. Acting as the primary delivery counterpart to system integrators and internal stakeholders, the incumbent oversees delivery execution, monitors performance, manages risks and dependencies, and ensures adoption of SAP best practices and clean core principles. This position works closely with Program Directors, Project Directors, business leaders, technical architects, and implementation partners to achieve successful ERP transformation outcomes. The role also provides leadership in workstream planning, governance, quality assurance, resource coordination, and issue resolution across complex global ERP deployments. System Integrator Strategy & Scope Management: Define delivery strategy, develop and manage Statements of Work, challenge implementation approaches, validate resource models, effort estimates, and costs, and support contract negotiations. System Integrator Performance Management: Delivery Governance & Performance Management: Monitor integrator performance, track deliverables, contractual obligations, SLAs, progress, resource utilization, and recovery plans while ensuring adherence to SAP best practices. Program & Workstream Leadership: Lead day-to-day delivery of assigned SAP S/4 HANA workstreams, manage project plans, RAID logs, status reporting, milestones, and interdependencies. Solution Delivery & Quality Assurance: Oversee implementation activities across Prepare, Explore, Realize, Deploy, and Run phases, ensuring compliance with SAP standards, architecture principles, and clean core strategy. Financial & Resource Management: Support budget tracking, forecasting, resource planning, vendor coordination, and benefits realization activities for assigned workstreams. Stakeholder Management & Reporting: Provide structured updates to Program Directors, Project Directors, business leaders, and steering committees while facilitating decision-making and issue resolution.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Equivalent education and experience may be considered. Minimum 8 years of SAP project experience, including at least 3 years in a Delivery Lead, Workstream Lead, or comparable ERP implementation leadership role. Experience participating in a minimum of three international ERP implementations involving major systems integrators. Minimum 3 years leading cross-functional ERP delivery teams, including SAP consultants, business analysts, architects, vendors, and third-party implementation partners. Strong communication skills (French/English verbal and written is a very strong asset SAP Activate Certification Project Management Professional (PMP) PRINCE2 Practitioner SAP S/4 HANA implementation expertise SAP Activate Methodology Knowledge of core SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, WM/EWM, HR/HCM) Project planning and scheduling tools RAID management and reporting SAP RISE and Business Technology Platform (BTP) Data migration concepts and tools including BODS and LTMC/LTMOM Advanced Microsoft Office and project management tools Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Demonstrated ability to challenge and manage external system integrators Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Experience delivering complex global transformation programs Ability to influence decisions across business and technical teams Strong risk, issue, and dependency management capabilities Global. Supports domestic and international ERP implementations across multiple countries and regions. Responsible for monitoring delivery budgets and workstream expenditures. Supports oversight of multi-million-dollar ERP implementation initiatives. No direct reports required. Leads and coordinates cross-functional teams consisting of internal resources, system integrators, consultants, vendors, and business stakeholders through influence and matrix leadership. Supports multiple workstreams within enterprise-wide ERP transformation programs. Coordinates activities across business and technology teams. Works with major global systems integrators and third-party vendors. Responsible for delivery quality, schedule adherence, and achievement of business outcomes.
