Within the group, you will join the Data & IA Hub: the Data & IA competence center for the 26 countries of the SOCOTEC group. The Hub is experiencing strong headcount growth with projects both internally and for the group's clients.

Integrated into the Data & IA Hub team, you will join a young team composed of Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and ML Engineers.

You will work on two main missions:

• In project mode, you will participate in the end-to-end management of final projects: data collection, preprocessing pipeline, modeling, and deployment. You will contribute to the development of the group's 4 main axes:

o Inspection 4.0: development of computer vision and NLP algorithms to support business experts in the field

o Assistants SOCOTEC: development of personalized agents for the group's services (RAG, text-to-SQL, …)

o IA+X for new services: development of hybridization techniques between physics and IA (digital twin, PINN)

o Information extraction from documents and plans

•You will choose an R&D subject to confront the state-of-the-art in the field with possibilities for scientific publication. The subjects are presented and detailed below:

o Inspection 4.0: Machine learning applied to the inspection of civil engineering structures

o AI-assisted near-accident detection on construction sites: EPILOG

o Auto-completion of technical content to assist in report writing

o Report generation agent with integrated canvas within an LLM platform

o Knowledge Management Agent (AXONE IA, RESOTECH IA) using advanced RAG techniques

o Smart speech-to-text: intelligent transcription and information extraction with LLMs

The work will be done in collaboration with a team of developers to develop the models and host the deliverables on an AWS web platform.

A fluent level in Spanish and English is necessary to accomplish the missions.

You will demonstrate autonomy, sagacity, and certain qualities in the writing and communication of your code.
