By joining the SOCOTEC Data & IA Hub, you will actively participate in the maintenance and optimization of our Datalake, as well as the creation and updating of data flows. You will be responsible for the documentation and validation of these flows, as well as the creation and implementation of reporting tools such as Power BI. You will also propose new solutions, participate in technical qualifications, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our data infrastructure. You will work on two main missions: Within the Socotec Monitoring France entity (20%), you will participate in defining the optimal data strategy for Socotec Monitoring (structuring, processes, open data, external data purchases). On behalf of the Socotec group (80%), you will participate in the construction of the Data Lake on a global scale. Your objective will be to develop data flows for analysis in connection with the BI and Data Science teams. You will learn to organize and schedule extraction, transformation, and loading flows of data while guaranteeing their reliability, availability, etc.
The technical stack used: Amazon Web Services (AWS) Apache Airflow as an orchestrator Spark for ETL pipelines Gitlab for versioning sources Kubernetes DeltaLake S3 Manage metadata with OpenMetadata Power BI, the BI tool, managed with the BI teams At SOCOTEC, careers are built with you towards what suits you best: technical expertise, team management (lead data), etc.
You will have the possibility to interact internationally (US, UK, ITA, ESP, NL) and international mobility opportunities are possible. You will demonstrate autonomy, sagacity, and certain qualities in the writing and communication of your code. The offer may lead to a CDI at the end of the internship.
Master's in Big Data or engineering degree in computer science with a strong appetite for data Mastery of SQL and NoSQL databases, as well as associated concepts Knowledge of the Big Data stack (Airflow, Spark, Hadoop) Experience with collaborative development tools (Git, GitLab, Jupyter Notebooks, etc.) Appreciated knowledge of AWS services (Lambda, EMR, S3) Marked interest in innovative technologies Team spirit Fluent English, including a good technical level
