The Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Division of the SOCOTEC group benefits from the expertise of its teams, capitalizing on 40 years of feedback to best conduct your searches for defects, in manufacturing or in operation. Our client commitments: providing answers adapted to your needs through ever-innovative solutions, proposing qualified, reactive, and mobile interveners with an excellent knowledge of codes and processes, and providing the experience of our teams, spread across the entire territory, who perform more than 10,000 equipment radiographs in NDT per year. As a Certified ASAP (Association pour la Sécurité des Appareils à Pression) Welding Business Manager, you will be responsible for the commercial development and technical management of projects related to the control and inspection of pressure equipment, with specific expertise in welding. Main Missions Ensure the follow-up of client orders Plan and coordinate inspection actions Select the inspectors best suited to the specific needs of the missions Produce project progress reports Perform field inspections as an inspector Supervise inspectors working on your files Qualify personnel in charge of permanent assemblies Qualify welding operating procedures Provide technical assistance to clients Monitor the manufacturing of boiler and mechano-welded equipment Intervene within the framework of ASAP (Association pour la Sécurité des Appareils à Pression), an Authorized and Notified Body of which SOCOTEC is a member Ensure compliance with the implementation of planned procedures Verify manufacturing files according to the requirements of construction codes and standards You will benefit from a gross annual remuneration between 40 and 50k euros (depending on profile).
Training and experience Training of BAC to BAC+3 type (BTS CRCI, physical measurements, materials, license in industrial site inspection, etc.) IWS-T diploma or equivalent desired ASAP level 2 authorization mandatory Significant experience in an industrial context Technical skills Good knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes, boiler making, metallurgy, and welding Mastery of standards and codes used in welding (NF EN ISO 9606-1, NF EN ISO 15614-1, etc.) Operational mastery of English, both spoken and written Writing and organizational skills Personal qualities Passion for the technical field Autonomy and rigor Strong commitment to customer satisfaction Excellent interpersonal skills Field-oriented man/woman Organizational and planning capacity
