As a Project Manager Health and Environmental Risk Assessment M/F, you will be attached to our international agency specializing in Chemical Risk, Environmental Health, and Product Safety issues (the Health & Chemical Safety Agency). You will work on technical-scientific and regulatory studies to assess the health risks of populations living near active or brownfield industrial sites. You will also be required to work on exposure-related topics: from workers to hazardous chemical agents, to occupants of commercial premises facing air quality issues. In this capacity, your main missions will consist of the implementation and management of various projects, including: The performance of health risk assessments (HRA) within the framework of ICPE files (impact studies, environmental authorization files, notification of knowledge, etc.), Conducting interpretations of environmental status (IEM) and participating in management plans for polluted sites and soils, The analysis of environmental data (soils, groundwater, air, soil gas) and their interpretation, The modeling of pollutant transfers and the assessment of population exposures, The drafting of technical-scientific reports and summary notes, Client relationship management, from understanding the need to the delivery of results, Project coordination (planning, budget monitoring). Participating in the life of the agency: Contributing to the development and dynamic of our activities with clients and prospects, Ensuring animation functions regarding marketing aspects and event organization, Ensuring technical and regulatory monitoring of our areas of interest. You may also be required to intervene on projects involving risk assessments in the context of European Product regulations (REACH, CLP, …) under the supervision of a team expert. These tasks are not exhaustive. You will benefit from a fixed salary (€40,000 - €45,000 depending on profile and experience)
With a minimum of a Master's degree (Bac+5) from an Engineering School or University Cycle with a specialization in chemistry, environment, toxicology, or public health, you have at least 3 years of professional experience acquired in a consultancy firm or in an industrial environment on similar missions. Mastery of pollutant transfer modeling and exposure assessment tools (such as AAMAP, MODFLOW, Johnson & Ettinger, etc.) as well as data processing and cartographic analysis tools (notably QGIS) is a real asset. In addition to technical, interpersonal, and commercial qualities, you must demonstrate great autonomy and be proactive. You possess an English level (written and oral) allowing you to understand technical subjects related to your activities and you master the Office pack (minimum Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
