Automation Engineer (M/F)
We are looking for several Automation Engineers for our Sophia Antipolis agency. Reporting to the R&D teams of the leader in industrial automation, you will participate in the test campaigns for the software and hardware products that make up this client's offering. This will be throughout their development or before their production launch. As part of this project, you will be responsible for:
- Setting up PLC configurations as required by tests
- Developing simulations and test automations
- Defining test cases and writing test plans
- Running tests on various configurations
- Entering detected anomalies into JIRA tools
- Collaborating with development teams (hardware, firmware, and software) to track bug fixes.
Profile: With a Bachelor's or Master's degree (Bac+3 to Bac+5) specializing in computer science and industrial automation, you have 2 to 6 years of experience in automation within the industry or a design office.
The required skills are:
Unity Pro, Vjeo Designer, Proface, InTouch, Scadas, Modbus, Ethernet, CanOpen Magelis type HMI terminals
Knowledge of Schneider Electric PLCs is indispensable: M221, M241, M340, M262, or M580, and experience with Siemens PLCs would be a plus. You also possess a good command of Modbus, Ethernet, or CanOpen communication protocols. Reading and writing English is imperative, with a good technical foundation in spoken English. Comfortable in teamwork, you have good communication skills and are autonomous in the deployment of technical solutions.
