Cloud Data Engineer Snowflake / AWS (M/F)
Our agency GESER-BEST is looking for a Cloud Data Engineer Snowflake / AWS M/F to work on a high-value-added project in an industrial context.
You will participate in the modernization, industrialization, and automation of data platforms. The mission will primarily revolve around the Snowflake ecosystem, while covering Cloud, DevOps, and DevSecOps challenges on AWS.
Mission Context
Integrated into multidisciplinary and international technical teams, you will contribute to the design, development, and evolution of robust, secure, and industrialized data solutions.
You will intervene across the entire data processing chain, from ingestion to transformation, quality control, and availability, following a logic of automation and continuous improvement.
Main Missions
Data Engineering and Snowflake
Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines.
Model data and participate in the design of data architectures.
Develop and optimize complex SQL queries in Snowflake.
Implement ETL/ELT processes.
Automate data processing and flows.
Guarantee data quality, reliability, and traceability.
Contribute to the implementation of Data Governance principles.
Industrialize and supervise data pipelines.
Utilize AWS services dedicated to data, notably AWS Glue, Amazon S3, AWS DMS, and Amazon Kinesis.
Participate in the modernization and continuous improvement of data platforms.
Additional Mission: Cloud, DevOps, and AWS
Design and deploy cloud infrastructures with Terraform according to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
Automate the provisioning and configuration of AWS environments.
Set up and evolve CI/CD pipelines with GitLab, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent tools.
Develop automation scripts in Python and/or Bash.
Participate in the containerization of applications with Docker.
Work on Kubernetes environments.
Design or maintain serverless processing with AWS Lambda.
Apply DevOps and DevSecOps practices.
Secure and automate Cloud environments.
Contribute to improving the availability, performance, and reliability of platforms.
See less Required Profile Required Skills:
Higher education in computer science, data, cloud, or an equivalent field.
At least 3 years of experience in Cloud and Data environments.
Significant experience in the Snowflake environment.
Very good mastery of SQL and data modeling principles.
Good knowledge of ETL/ELT processes, data pipelines, and data quality challenges.
Good mastery of the main AWS services and Terraform.
Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and DevSecOps practices.
Knowledge of Python and/or Bash.
Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS Lambda.
Ability to work in an international environment and with multidisciplinary teams.
Professional English, both written and spoken.
Autonomy, rigor, analytical mindset, and good communication skills.
