Within the Aircraft Maintenance Division (DEA) of Orly, the "Chantiers Sud" activity provides operational support for maintenance operations, whether for small or large checks of the Air France fleet as well as those performed for external clients.
The Chantiers Sud department brings together several areas of expertise, including that of the Technical Office.
The Workshop Technical Office supports production teams by providing them, throughout the entire duration of the visit, with all the technical and regulatory data indispensable to the smooth running of maintenance operations.
Mission Description
Integrated into a team working administrative hours and specialized in aircraft structure, the senior technician provides operational technical support to the maintenance teams.
Their main missions are to Participate in the launch of the workshop until the delivery of the aircraft, including the feedback phase and continuous improvement; Assist production technicians: understanding documents, searching for manufacturer and equipment manufacturer data; Monitor sensitive or critical technical operations in the field; Ensure the interface with:
Manufacturers and repairers (workshops, OEM) to obtain procedures or temporary/alternative repairs.
Internal functions (BTC, fundamental engineering, technical platform) to report irritants and follow documentary modifications; Perform RETEX to improve the reliability and industrialization of maintenance operations; Carry out techno-economic analyses to identify potential gains (RAS, warranties, etc.); Report any event that could impact the aircraft release; Be the guarantor of flight safety on a daily basis.
Profile Sought Training: Bac +2 to Bac +3 in the fields of aeronautics, mechanics and/or knowledge of materials and composites
Examples of suitable diplomas: BTS Aéronautique, Licence professionnelle Maintenance aéronautique or mécanique
Experience: Initial experience in the field of aeronautical maintenance or industrial systems is appreciated.
Job Info:
Good mastery of Windows tools and Office 365 pack
An asset: knowledge of SAP, Spotfire or Power BI
Documentation: Knowledge of technical documentation: SRM, AMM, overhaul procedures, technical drawings, operating sequences.
You possess:

Mastery of the French language: CECRL B1 level
Good knowledge of aircraft structure (primary and secondary)
Ability to analyze, synthesize and explain technical facts
