Mission Description

You will work within the Equipment and Services entity of the Air France Industrial General Management and, more specifically, in the Repair activity. The team of about twenty employees ensures the refurbishment of parts through machining, surface treatment, NDT, painting, fitting, and dimensional control.

Your main missions will be Machining parts according to a defined plan and process; Setting up and performing machining operations on conventional lathes, milling machines, or grinders.

• Selecting the appropriate tools based on the operations to be performed; Identifying and using suitable measurement tools for the control of machined parts.
• Ensuring first-level maintenance and upkeep of the machines;

• Participating in the optimization of settings and the continuous improvement of machining processes.

• Developing and manufacturing tooling; Defining machining processes starting from a part and a defect while respecting manufacturer recommendations; Supporting and training young graduates on conventional technologies; our fleet consists of many conventional machines that are no longer taught in school. We need support and rigorous monitoring regarding the skill development of our agents.

Profile Sought

Training and experience:

Holder of a BAC Pro type training in machining, you have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a turner-miller.

You master machining operations on conventional lathes and milling machines, or on grinders. Your background has allowed you to acquire solid experience on conventional machines, whether during an apprenticeship, an internship, or a job.
