Spare Parts Analyst and Support – Buyer

Electropower S.A. is looking for a Spare Parts Analyst and Support – Buyer to join our After Sales and Spare Parts team, in the commune of Quilicura, Región Metropolitana. We are looking for an analytical, organized, and proactive person, with technical knowledge and the ability to manage purchases, suppliers, quotes, and spare parts supply, directly supporting the operational continuity of the area.

Main functions

• Manage requests for quotations and purchases of spare parts, supplies, and components.
• Search for, evaluate, and maintain contact with national suppliers.
• Compare quotations considering price, quality, availability, and delivery times.
• Issue and follow up on purchase orders.
• Coordinate the availability and timely supply of spare parts.
• Keep product, cost, and supplier information updated in ERP.
• Support the commercial and After Sales areas with inquiries related to spare parts and availability.
• Follow up on pending orders and committed delivery dates.
• Prepare reports and analyses of purchases, costs, and supply.
• Maintain documentation and records associated with suppliers and purchasing processes.

Requirements

• Education as an Engineer in Foreign Trade, Automotive Mechanics Engineer, Electromechanical Engineering, Heavy Machinery Engineering, or a related technical/professional career.
• Experience or knowledge in purchasing, supply, spare parts, machinery, automotive, or related technical areas.
• Intermediate level Excel skills.
• Desirable experience working with ERP Defontana, SAP, or similar systems.
• Analytical and negotiation capacity with suppliers.
• Orientation toward internal customers, planning, and follow-up.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
