At the earliest possible date, we are looking for:

Quality Inspector (m/f/d) immediately in Backnang

Your tasks:

• Incoming goods inspection of devices and components, assemblies and components.
• PCB and device assembly: Visual inspection of solder joints, splice points, and bonding with different adhesives, as well as manual execution according to drawing, bill of materials, work plan, and specified manufacturing and inspection regulations.
• Inspection of optical assemblies and devices, especially laser terminals in the end-device status.
• Verification of compliance with manufacturing documents (paper and electronic) incl. correct adherence to documentation rules and traceability.
• Prepare assemblies and devices for customer acceptance (MIP/FAI) and present them to the customer.
• Create inspection reports (in case of deviations) as well as participate in troubleshooting and error rectification.
• Execution of the required SAP postings.
• Collaboration in the creation of inspection regulations.

Requirements:

• Technical skilled worker training with several years of experience, alternatively Master/Technician degree in electrotechnical or optical specialization.
• Good knowledge of technical drawings and documents (also electronically supported with 3D).
• Experience in handling microscopes.
• Good MS-OFFICE and SAP knowledge.
• Optional: ESA soldering qualification according to ECSS-Q-70-08A, ideally already with Cat.2 training and experience.
• Optional: ESA crimping qualification according to ECSS-Q-ST-70-26C.
• Teamwork skills, very good communication within the team and with adjacent areas.
• Good eyesight.
• Good English skills in speaking and writing.
