We are looking for a motivated and experienced Senior Buyer (m/f/d) with the following tasks and requirements for our renowned customer in Nagold.

Your Tasks

• Execution of procurement processes including needs analysis, procurement market analysis, tenders, and price comparisons
• Conducting national & international price negotiations, as well as concluding framework purchasing agreements
• Intensification and expansion of supplier management, as well as supplier evaluation and supplier KPIs
• Further development and implementation of future-oriented product group strategies
• Process optimization and realization of savings potential, including through global market monitoring
• Development of cost reduction measures with suppliers and internal departments
• Licensing/insurance/raw material procurement
• Systematic Supplier Relations Management to ensure advantageous supplier relationships
• Independent management of purchasing projects

You bring with you

• Completed commercial training with additional qualification as Business Administrator/Technical Business Administrator or comparable
• Several years of professional experience in strategic/operational purchasing with strong technical understanding
• Experience and knowledge in dealing with production processes, KPIs, bills of materials, and manufacturing cost calculation
• Knowledge of contract law and supplier management
• Confident, professional appearance with a hands-on mentality
• High degree of negotiation and communication skills as well as assertiveness
• Structured, precise, efficient, and result-oriented way of working
• A high degree of teamwork, motivation, thoroughness, and reliability
• Proficient use of MS-Office as well as SAP
• Business fluent English skills in speaking and writing
