We are looking for a motivated and experienced Metrology Technician (m/f/d) with the following tasks and requirements for our renowned customer in Nagold.

Your Tasks

• Creating standard operational measurement programs for measuring machines according to specifications
• Archiving programs and measurement results according to a specified data structure (Program Manager, measuring machine software)
• Preparing, performing, and evaluating standard operational measurements on measuring & testing equipment as part of measuring equipment management, possibly using standard operational statistical methods
• Archiving measurement results according to operational specifications
• Evaluating capability studies
• Technical contact person for customers and suppliers, possibly in cooperation with the supervisor or the responsible specialist department
• Considering costs, quality, environment, and occupational safety within the work task
• Technical support for new product launches and new processes
• Collaboration in the conception and design of testing devices and measuring fixtures
• Supporting the respective specialist departments in the creation, design, and optimization of tools and fixtures

Your Profile

• Completed technical vocational training, ideally in the metalworking industry or comparable
• Professional experience in 3D metrology desirable, ideally in the automotive sector
• Experience in programming and measurement with PC-DMIS 2022, Zeiss Calypso 2021, GOM 2022, and standard commercial measuring instruments
• Knowledge of stamping technology / joining technology is an advantage
• Strong technical understanding and the ability to interpret even complex drawings
• Goal-oriented thinking and acting
• Reliable and precise way of working as well as willingness to learn
• Initiative, teamwork, and a high degree of flexibility round off your profile
• Good written and spoken English skills
• Willingness to work in shifts
