Cloud Engineer (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

Development and operation of scalable Cloud services and platform components Construction, further development, and optimization of the compilation and execution platform Conception and maintenance of APIs and SDKs Development of scheduling, queueing, and dispatching solutions for the efficient use of hardware resources Implementation of secure authentication and authorization concepts as well as multi-tenancy separation Close cooperation with Quantum hardware and firmware teams at the interfaces between Cloud and hardware Ensuring monitoring, performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency of the platform

What you bring to the table:

At least 3 years of experience in the development and operation of backend or platform services Very good knowledge of Python; ideally supplemented by experience with Go, Rust, or C Sound experience in API design, especially with REST and/or gRPC Knowledge of modern authentication and authorization concepts, e.g., OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and RBAC Experience with Infrastructure as Code, for example Terraform, as well as with modern CI/CD pipelines Strong security awareness and understanding of requirements for data protection, GDPR, and data residency Strong communication skills and enjoyment of working in interdisciplinary teams Very good English skills; German skills are an advantage
