IAM Technical Architect

Daily tasks

• Develop and continuously refine technical solution and integration concepts across enterprise IAM/IGA ecosystems.
• Ensure a coherent overall technical architecture aligned with agreed security, compliance, and architectural standards.
• Evaluate and mitigate technical risks, system dependencies, and interface complexities.
• Coordinate architectural decisions and technical trade-offs with client-side technical stakeholders.
• Design robust interface architectures and integration concepts for Identity Governance and Administration systems.

Requirements

Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in technical architecture and IT security. Fluent German proficiency (both spoken and written). Proven track record designing overall Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) architectures. Hands-on experience designing at least 5 IAM/IGA enterprise architectures in regulated industries, preferably within energy utilities or Critical Infrastructure (KRITIS). Deep understanding of security and compliance frameworks, including ISO 27001, BSI IT-Grundschutz, NIS2, and KRITIS regulations. Strong background in interface design, integration patterns, and secure enterprise architecture concepts.
