Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Read and interpret construction drawings, measurements, and carpentry plans.
- Measure, mark, cut, shape, and assemble timber, plywood, and other carpentry materials.
- Construct, install, and dismantle formwork for concrete works, including columns, beams, walls, and slabs.
- Install doors, door frames, window frames, cabinets, partitions, and other wooden fixtures.
- Carry out interior renovation carpentry works, including wardrobes, kitchen cabinets, shelving, and built-in furniture.
- Repair, adjust, and maintain existing wooden structures and fittings.
- Operate carpentry tools and machinery safely, including saws, drills, hammers, and measuring equipment.
- Select suitable materials and minimise material wastage during carpentry works.
