The Role What you’ll be doing Lead and support colleagues on shift, creating a positive, inclusive and respectful working environment working a double days shift pattern : 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm on a rotation basis. Build strong relationships across the team and make sure people feel listened to, supported and valued. Set clear priorities and expectations, ensuring the shift is well organised and appropriately resourced. Coach and develop colleagues, supporting training, cross-skilling and future talent. Support the management of attendance, performance and conduct in a fair and consistent way. Champion health, safety and wellbeing, ensuring safe ways of working are followed and concerns are addressed. Support delivery of production, quality, service and performance targets. Identify and resolve issues quickly, escalating where appropriate. Encourage colleagues to share ideas and play an active role in continuous improvement. Promote a right-first-time approach to quality and compliance. Communicate clearly across the shift and provide effective handovers. Deputise for the Shift Manager when required. What you’ll bring You’ll have experience of supervising or leading a team , ideally within a manufacturing, production or operational environment. We’re looking for someone who is: A confident and approachable people leader. A clear, calm and inclusive communicator. Comfortable making decisions and solving problems.
