Your tasks
Reporting to a Shift Team Leader, you will be responsible for the day to day operations within the factory facility as well as the safe and efficient loading/unloading of pallets, whilst health and safety is adhered to at all times.
- Safe stacking and unstacking large quantities of pallets into racking
- Moving pallets from storage areas to loading areas for transport
- Unloading deliveries and safely relocating the pallets to their designated storage areas
- Excellent time management with a flexible approach to work
Requirements
This challenging position demands a proactive “hands on” approach, complimented by accuracy, adherence to deadlines and laid down procedures
- Counterbalance / FLT - Essential
- Knowledge of warehouse Health and Safety requirements.
- Skills : accuracy, attention to detail, reliability, computer literate
- Able to work to tight deadlines and targets - under own initiative and as part of a team
- Naturally self-motivated and have the ability to work under minimum supervision
- The willingness to carry out other tasks as and when required
