Compliance & Data Protection Officer | Immediate Hiring

About the company: Our client is a reputable Singapore law firm with an established Corporate Secretarial & Family Office practice, providing corporate, compliance and data protection services to clients. 

Key Responsibilities:  Assist with AML/CFT procedures, KYC/CDD reviews, client due diligence and AML screening. 

Monitor regulatory requirements and maintain relevant compliance documentation and records. 

Liaise with clients, auditors, tax advisors, banks and other professional service providers on compliance matters. 

Act as the appointed Data Protection Officer (DPO) for clients where required. 

Support compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), including the preparation and maintenance of data protection policies and documentation. 

Assist with data protection enquiries, reviews and related compliance matters. 

Work closely with the Legal, Corporate Secretarial and other relevant teams to support client requirements. 

Requirements:  Degree in Accountancy, Business Administration, Corporate Administration or a related discipline. 

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in compliance, corporate services, corporate secretarial, legal or financial services. 

Familiarity with Singapore regulatory requirements, AML/CFT, KYC/CDD and compliance procedures. 

Knowledge of the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and experience in DPO responsibilities will be an advantage. 

Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with corporate secretarial systems is an advantage. 

Strong organisational, analytical and communication skills, with good attention to detail. 

Professional, client-focused and able to work collaboratively across teams.
