Warehouse Operative/Forklift – Permanent

(Reach Truck, VNA and/or PPT would be highly desirable and preferred).

Location: Flitwick Hours: Monday–Thursday, 8:30am–5:00pm | Friday, 8:30am–2:45pm Contract: Permanent, Full Time

Are you an experienced Warehouse Operative looking for a stable, permanent opportunity with a well-established business and a genuinely supportive team culture?

Our client has been successfully operating for over 30 years and is now looking for a proactive and reliable Warehouse Operative to become an integral part of their team in Flitwick.

This is a varied, hands-on position, so we're looking for somebody who enjoys getting involved in all areas of warehouse operations. The successful applicant won't only be working on a forklift all day – they'll be working alongside their colleagues to make sure everything runs smoothly.

What you'll be doing

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Operating a counterbalance forklift truck
• Loading and unloading lorries
• Picking and packing orders accurately
• Scanning and processing items
• Moving stock around the warehouse
• Manual handling and heavy lifting
• Supporting with general warehouse duties
• Working flexibly across the operation depending on the priorities of the day
• Helping your colleagues and contributing to the wider success of the warehouse team

Working hours

You'll normally work 8:30am–5:00pm Monday to Thursday , with an earlier finish of 2:45pm on Fridays .

During the company's busier spring and summer months, there may be occasions when you're required to start earlier. However, these additional hours will be banked and can be taken back as additional leave later in the year, giving you some extra time off during quieter periods.
