Able to read and interpret technical drawings, fabrication standards, and welding procedures.
Familiar with common tools: MIG/TIG/Stick welding, grinder, gas cutter, plasma cutter, slip roller & etc.
Monitor welder performance and workmanship to meet quality and safety standards.
Supervise and coordinate welding activities at site or workshop to ensure compliance with approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and project drawings.
Ensure proper use of welding equipment, materials, and consumables according to specifications.
Enforce workplace safety procedures, especially related to hot work and confined spaces.
Maintain accurate records of welder qualifications, weld logs, and inspection reports.
Collaborate with fabricators, machinists, and engineers.
Plan daily work schedules and manpower assignments to meet production targets.
Requirements :-
Minimum High school diploma or equivalent.
Certification in welding (IACS, or similar) preferred.
Proven experience as a Welder or in metal fabrication.
Proficiency in MIG, TIG, arc, and/or gas welding techniques.
Ability to read blueprints and understand welding symbols.
Strong understanding of metal properties and fabrication processes.
Excellent hand–eye coordination and manual dexterity.
