Credit Collections Controller

1) Contact customers via phone, email, and any other tool in order to collect outstanding debts. 2) Negotiate payment plans and settlement agreements while adhering to company policies. 3) Monitor accounts to identify overdue payments and take appropriate action. 4) Maintain accurate records of all collection efforts and customer interactions. 5) Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes with customers. 6) Collaborate with internal teams, including FAM and Legal, to resolve account issues. 7) Provide regular reports on collection activities and outstanding accounts. 8) Maintain cost accounting systems and practices to ensure accurate costing of products and services. 9) Manage relationships with key accounts to ensure timely payments and resolve any collections issues. System. 13) Liaise with the legal team to submit all required documents to prepare legal action. 14) Assess and monitor credit risk for new and existing customers.

Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Accounting or related field. Proven experience 3:5 years as a credit and collections, or in a similar role, preferably within the manufacturing sector. Knowledge and understanding Manufacturing & commercial industry. Strong understanding of credit risk management and collection processes. Studying and identify the operating costs of machines (Capacity – utilized) and equipment Strong analytical skills and proficiency in cost accounting principles. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Business Acumen/ Ownership – a solid understanding of the organizations’ industry, market dynamics, and key drivers of business performance is crucial. Strong Analytical skills to diagnose organizational issues, identify root causes, and develop data-driven solutions. Strategic Thinking – ability to think strategically, ability to identify opportunities, assess risks, and propose actionable strategies. Problem-solving skills - to address complex organizational challenges and implement effective solutions. Process-Oriented - Skilled at developing and following quality procedures, with a focus on continuous improvement. Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders, build buy-in, and facilitate smooth transitions during periods of change. Technical Skills: Proficiency in BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.), and data visualization best practices.
