Corporate Lawyer
Responsible for assisting in various legal matters, including but not limited to, contract drafting in both English and Arabic, memo drafting, collection documents for legal cases, internal investigations, and handling Egyptian labor issues if they occur. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be exposed and introduced to the Saudi law.
Draft contracts and other legal documents in both English and Arabic, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Prepare memos and legal correspondence as directed by the Legal Manager.
Assist in managing internal investigations related to any policy violation or manage to settle the disputes internally according to the labor law.
Serve as a point of contact for Egyptian labor issues , providing guidance and support to relevant departments and stakeholders as required.
Develop a working knowledge of Egypt laws, Saudi Arabian law and regulations, with a focus on areas relevant to the packaging manufacturing industry.
Stay informed about changes to relevant laws and regulations in Egypt and Saudi Arabia and ensure that the company remains in compliance with all applicable legal requirements.
Collaborate with other members of the legal team and cross-functional teams to provide legal advice and support on a wide range of issues.
Establishing the legal framework for the company in Egypt, ensuring adherence to Egyptian labor regulations, and engaging with government authorities to develop a robust legal infrastructure for our Group.
Archiving all legal department documents.
Provide expert legal advice on topics, including regulations, competition, corporate affairs, commercial agreements, procurement, and employment law.
Legal Dispute Resolution: Handle coordination of legal disputes and litigation with external legal counsels/firms and represent the company's interests if needed
Maintain a database of all active contracts and ensure timely renewal or termination as required.
Collaborate with various departments to provide legal insights and support in decision-making processes.
Bachelor’s degree in law , preferably English or French division.
From 3 to 5 years of experience in a legal role , with a focus on contract drafting, document review, and legal research.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Strong understanding of Egyptian & Saudi law including Labor law, Civil law, Commercial law and any related law based on job scope.
Willingness to learn and develop expertise in Saudi Arabian law and regulations. High ethical standards and integrity, with a commitment to upholding legal and ethical principles
Ability to assess legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate risks while supporting company's business objectives.
Excellent communication, negotiation, follow-up, and stakeholder-management skills.
Excellent Arabic writing and communication skills with good business English.
Strong Excel, online research, reporting, and data-management skills.
Ability to read and understand tender documents, specifications, commercial requirements, and procurement conditions.
Highly organized, persistent, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple opportunities simultaneously.
