Automation and Control Engineer

Are you an automation expert with a passion for field work and an international vision? As a global leader in leak detection engineering, we are looking for your talent to join us as a key piece of our plant in El Marqués, Querétaro.

Your main challenge: You will be responsible for developing the technical control architecture, advanced PLC/HMI programming, and machinery safety validation in high-precision projects, ensuring the success of FAT/SAT tests with clients in Mexico, USA, and Europe.

Key functions:

  • Advanced PLC programming in Siemens (TIA Portal) and Rockwell (Studio 5000).
  • Development of HMI/SCADA interfaces (WinCC, FactoryTalk View).
  • Configuration of industrial networks (Profinet, Ethernet/IP) and traceability systems.
  • Functional safety validation (ISO 13849) using PILZ multi relays.
  • Execution of on-site commissioning and FAT/SAT acceptance tests.
  • High-level technical support and hands-on fault diagnosis.

What we are looking for:

  • Education: Mechatronics, Electronics, Control Engineering, or related (Degree holder).
  • Experience: 6+ years in PLC/HMI programming and 3+ years in field commissioning.
  • Language: Advanced English (B2/C1) indispensable for technical meetings with UK/USA.
  • Documentation: Valid Passport and American Visa (Mandatory).
  • Skills: Analytical capacity for root cause diagnosis and availability to travel (25% - 35%).

*Plus* specialization or certification in industrial automation, certification in Siemens TIA Portal or Rockwell Studio 5000, machinery safety (EN ISO 13849 / TÜV), or control systems programming.

Our offer:

  • Net Salary: $30,000 - $35,000 MXN monthly.
