Production Technician

About the company

Smartflex Technology provides assembly, packaging, and testing services for contact and contactless dual interface IC modules used in SIM cards, credit cards, ATM cards, and identity cards for global customers.

Your tasks

You will support machine and process setup, assist engineers with troubleshooting and maintenance, operate machines, and perform inspections to ensure quality production meets customer requirements.

• Set up machines and processes to prepare for production runs
• Assist engineers in troubleshooting equipment and maintaining machinery to minimize downtime
• Operate machines as needed and conduct in-process inspections to ensure product quality
• Monitor production to ensure products meet customer specifications and schedules
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by performing housekeeping tasks
• Clean up machine oil spills promptly to prevent hazards
• Segregate waste properly to support environmental compliance
• Contribute to energy and resource conservation initiatives within the organization
• Follow all company policies on quality, environmental, health, safety, and security

Requirements

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma or ITE certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering
• GCE "O" Level or SPM equivalent
• Minimum one year of experience in a mass production or engineering environment
• Ability to understand and use measuring equipment

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience working with wire bonder and die attach machines
