Project manager - Enfoque TI

JOB OBJECTIVE:

Follow up on Fintech projects and products at a high level from inception to closure, ensuring compliance with time, budget, and scope according to quality and regulatory compliance standards. This role is the first line of relationship with the client and the bridge between the business vision (Product Owner) and the construction of the product process (Scrum Master).

AUTHORITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Occupies an intermediate position and reports periodically to the Dirección General to validate milestones and receive direction on the course of the projects. Is ultimately responsible for the dates committed to the client, contracts, costs, and commercial aspects, and the formal closure of the project. Their main responsibilities are: relationship and communication with the client (1st line), contractual and commercial management, preparation and control of the master plan and budget, management of commercial, contractual, and regulatory risks, project kickoff and closure, and synchronization with the Product Owner (scope and value) and the Scrum Master (capacity and pace) to commit to dates supported by the team's estimation. They do not prioritize the backlog, do not pass down technical requirements to the team, nor commit to dates without the team's estimation.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree in Ing. en Sistemas / Informática, Administration, Finance, or related.

EXPERIENCE:

3+ years in software project management; 2 years in Fintech or digital financial services (payments, BaaS, or banking) is desirable. PMP / PMI-ACP or SAFe (Product Management) certification is desirable.

HARD COMPETENCIES:

• Project management methodologies and frameworks (PMI / Scrum), scheduling, financial and budgetary management, risk management, and contractual management.
• Knowledge of the Fintech ecosystem (Desirable): payment methods (SPEI, CoDi), BaaS / APIs, card issuance and acquiring, Ley Fintech (CNBV, Banxico, CONDUSEF), PLD/AML, KYC, and PCI-DSS.
• Management tools (Jira, MS Project).
• English B2+.

SOFT COMPETENCIES:

Executive communication, leadership, negotiation, conflict resolution, decision-making under pressure, results orientation, and client expectation management.
