Senior Consultant in Applied Machine Learning Research – Marseille Transform research into concrete forecasting and failure detection solutions for connected equipment. Today, as part of a project for one of our clients, a large maritime transport group, we are looking for a Senior Consultant in Applied Machine Learning Research. You will contribute to the evolution of an agentic framework dedicated to applied research. You will develop forecasting solutions integrating events and failure detection on IoT equipment, with a particular focus on the quality of experimentation and the reproducibility of results. The position is based in Marseille, with an expected on-site presence two days per week. Your impact Design and develop forecasting components based on time series;

Integrate relevant events into forecasting models;

Develop anomaly and failure detection solutions on IoT data;

Contribute to the evolution of an agentic architecture;

Design rigorous and reproducible experimental protocols;

Train, evaluate, and compare Machine Learning and Deep Learning approaches;

Analyze results to identify the approaches most useful to the use cases;

Industrialize the selected developments with the technical teams;

Document methods, experiments, and results;

Present your findings to technical and business stakeholders.

Your profile You have proven experience in applied Machine Learning research, with the ability to move your work from the experimental stage to an exploitable solution. You master Python, Machine Learning and Deep Learning methods, as well as time series analysis. You have already worked on forecasting, anomaly detection, or predictive maintenance. You know how to design reproducible experiments, measure model performance, and explain your choices. Experience with IoT data and agentic architectures is expected for this project. You are autonomous, methodical, and comfortable working with multidisciplinary teams. Professional English is required.
